CYTOPROCESSOR® supports CytoTechnologists and Pathologists with diagnosing the digitized and with DATEXIM’s Artificial Intelligence analysed LBC-gynaecological slides.
👉 CytoProcessor® can be used with Hologic ThinPrep or ILSA preparation and 3DHISTECH scanners.
👉 CytoProcessor® shows the most relevant cells after analysing all detected nuclei with up to 400 features of each nucleus, like size, membrane, chromatin, neighbourhood, etc. and put the most relevant nuclei in the abnormal gallery to be first to be diagnosed.
For making a diagnosis it’s important to understand ‘the language of cells’.
The following cell changes may indicate the presence of pathogens, HPV infected cells and the presence of an abnormal glandular lesion.
- For example, if the cell has reactive cellular changes like cytoplasmic vacuolization in case of Candida, picture ①, and in case of Trichomonas Vaginalis, picture ②, and for other pathogens, eosinophilic cytoplasm and perinuclear halos are often seen.
- If a cell is infected with HPV by showing koilocytosis, see picture ③, and if the cell is infected with HSV-virus by showing ground glass chromatin. Picture ④ shows an atypical group of endocervical cells in rosette formation, suited to AIS.
