CytoProcessor® - Annette's Case n°6

JUNE 23 2022

CytoProcessor®, Datexim’s Solution for Digital Cytology, is a big step in the evolution for Cervical Cancer Screening.

As CytoProcessor® is analysing all detected nuclei with up to 400 features of each nucleus it will put the small, dark, and blue nuclei of a HSIL lesion in the first rows of the abnormal gallery to show it to you on the first glance.

With CytoProcessor® you can adapt your user settings to your own preferences as CytoTechnologists and Pathologists have their own preferences for reviewing and diagnosing the digitized gynaecological LBC slides on a HD screen.

As a CytoProcessor® user you are able to adapt the size of the Digital Microscopical Field to see the cells in their context on the cell spot and still see and use the most prevalent cells in the different galleries – as you can see on the left side on the PICTURE showing the abnormal gallery.

With CytoProcessor® you can also adapt the marge around the nuclei of the thumbnail and the default of the microscopical field to your preference – at any moment.

For example, on the PICTURE, 25 mm for the thumbnail and 40x for the Digital Microscopical Field.

For CytoTechnologists and Pathologists, it is of big importance to compare the nucleoli of the cells or other components with each other for making an accurate and reliable diagnosis.

CytoProcessor® sensitivity was never reached before¹.

Therefore CytoProcessor®, Datexim’s Solution for Digital Cytology, is a big step in the evolution for Cervical Cancer Screening.

This case example shows CytoProcessor® used with Hologic ThinPrep or ILSA preparation and a Hamamatsu or 3DHistech scanner.
